Botox® (Botulinum toxin) is a purified substance derived from bacteria, used for both medical and cosmetic treatments. Among its types, Botulinum toxin type A is the most effective and widely applied. When injected into muscles, it temporarily relaxes them, smoothing out wrinkles and preventing the formation of new lines. The effects naturally diminish over time, gradually restoring muscle movement.
Primarily used to reduce the appearance of dynamic wrinkles (caused by facial expressions like frowning or squinting).
Temporarily relaxes muscles by blocking nerve signals, preventing them from contracting and forming wrinkles.
Small amounts of Botox® are injected into specific muscles to relax them and reduce wrinkles. We meticulously mark and measure injection sites for precision.
Using very fine needles ensures minimal discomfort, and no downtime is required after the procedure.
Effects may take up to 14 days to fully develop and typically last 4–6 months. As muscle movement returns, repeat treatments may be necessary to maintain results.
A review appointment will be scheduled to assess outcomes and discuss any adjustments or additional treatments needed.
Effects last about 3–4 months.
Smooths out wrinkles by softening muscle activity; it doesn’t add volume.
